Scientific research achievements

Set up and applied Phase-field models to different fields to study the physical properties of the materials, such as hydride precipitation and diffusion in Zirconium, Pseudoelasticity of Magnetic shape memory alloys, STT effect in spintronic system, vortex in superconductor film coupled with a magnetic layer, topological charge in liquid crystal system etc.. Combine the first-principle calculation with the phase-field method to do the multi-scale calculation of the properties of the materials. Developed a statistical model of molecular dynamics for calculating the hydrogen brittleness in iron. Studied physical properties of many magnetic systems by experiments. Published more than 140 authored or co-authored peer review research papers.
